HOW THIS WORKS

Each year, WiD: NM’s Annual Wreath and Ornament | Design Competition and Silent Auction centers on celebrating creativity and charity. We provide a space for local professionals and artists to enter hand-crafted wreaths or a set of 4 ornaments and auction them to the public. All proceeds are then used to support a local charity during the holiday season. Come and join our professional community by networking with fellow members. Participate in exciting raffles and a silent auction featuring the wreaths and ornaments submitted by our local professionals and artists. There is also an opportunity for companies to have an onsite sponsorship presence at the event.

This years event will be on November 2nd, held at Canvas Artistry. Join us for a remarkable celebration of New Mexico’s rich and inclusive culture at our 8th Wreath and Ornament event, dedicated to honoring El Día de Los Muertos. The proceeds from this year's event will benefit the Transgender Resource Center of New Mexico, a local organization committed to providing unwavering support to transgender, non-binary, and gender-nonconforming communities. Your support will make a difference that resonates far beyond the festivities. Let’s unite, celebrate culture and support a cause that uplifts and empowers.

SUBMIT YOUR
WREATH + ORNAMENTS

1st step -Please complete this form

2nd step - You will receive an email confirmation containing instructions, and your name will be added to the check-in list for free entry.

3rd step - Find any materials that are available to you, from recyclable materials to the most luxurious ones. The only thing we ask is that you submit a paragraph by the day before the event explaining your art piece to our Gmail.

4th step - Please remember to submit your wreath and/or a set of four ornaments in-person the day before the event location. Refere to your confirmation email.

5th step - Come to our event, were we will announcing the winners.
